Configure Cursor to use Odel
Cursor Setup
This guide shows you how to connect Cursor to Odel's MCP server.
Prerequisites
- Cursor installed (version with MCP support)
- An Odel account with modules installed
Configuration
1. Open Cursor Settings
Open Cursor and navigate to:
Settings → Features → MCP Servers
2. Add Your Modules
For each module you want to use, click "Add Server" and enter:
- Name: A descriptive name (e.g.,
Calculator) - URL: The module's URL (e.g.,
https://mcp.odel.app/Odel/calculator-basic) - Transport: HTTP
Find the module URL on the module's config page in the marketplace. Add one server entry per module.
3. Save and Restart
Save your settings and restart Cursor.
Verification
After restarting, your Odel tools should be available. Try using a tool from one of your installed modules.
Troubleshooting
Server Not Connecting
- Verify Cursor's MCP support is enabled
- Check that the URL is correct
- Ensure you're logged in to Odel
Tools Not Working
- Verify the module is installed on Odel
- Check Cursor's MCP logs for errors
- Try reinstalling the module
